Zarbo is an iconic Café & Delicatessen establishment which opened its doors in Newmarket in 1995. Over the years Zarbo built itself into a well-know, iconic brand that is recognized not only New Zealand wide, but also internationally. Zarbo is now owned by Mark McDonough who started with Zarbo as a chef. Mark is well-known not only because of his standards and creations of food variety at Zarbo, but also for his own created extensive range of Zarbo dressings and sauces. Zarbo also imports many overseas exclusive, scrumptious products.

Next to the delicatessen which stocks one of the widest ranges of gourmet produce in New Zealand, featuring premium quality products from Europe and New Zealand, we have the cafe. The café has a relaxing, casual seating capacity of 144, offering a full a la carte breakfast and lunch menus, as well as an extensive array of cabinet food. Our kitchen produces all our food for our café, and our deli cabinet, as well as the food for our extensive outside catering menu.

We currently have positions available in:

 Kitchen

Full-Time / Part-Time Grill Chef
Punctual and hard working Grill Chef required. 3 years experience minimum.
Must be able to work weekends and weekdays.

Part-time Kitchen Hand.
Punctual and hard working kitchen hand required to wash up and do general kitchen duties.
Must be able to work part-time at weekends and weekdays.

Café

Full-time Assistant Café Manager.
Must have at least 2 years previous experience as an Assistant Café Manager.
Must be able to work full-time at weekends and weekdays.

Sales

Part-time and full-time Sales Person.
Must have own transport and a clean full driving license.
